Cabell-Huntington Health Department to Host Drive-Through Flu Vaccine Clinic on Friday, September 26
Huntington, WV – The Cabell-Huntington Health Department (CHHD) will host a drive-through flu vaccine clinic on Friday, September 26, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The clinic will take place at the health department, located at 703 7th Avenue in Huntington.
Community members can receive their seasonal flu vaccination without ever leaving their vehicles. The drive-through format provides a quick and convenient way to protect yourself and your loved ones ahead of flu season.
“Getting vaccinated against the flu is one of the best steps you can take to protect your health and the health of those around you,” said Kathleen Napier, CHHD Director of Nursing. “Our drive-through clinic makes it easy and convenient—people can stay in their cars, avoid coming indoors, and still receive the protection they need for the upcoming flu season.”
The flu vaccine is recommended for individuals six months of age and older. CHHD encourages residents to take advantage of this opportunity to get vaccinated early.
