HUNTINGTON, West Virginia. The drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinic located on the corner of 24th street and 5th avenue in Huntington and the COVID-19 testing site located at 1801 6th avenue will be closing on Friday, April 28th at the close of business. The Cabell- Huntington Health Department is grateful for the partnership with Marshall University and other community partners that allowed these sites to operate during high traffic periods in the COVID- 19 response.
Though these sites are closing, COVID-19 testing and vaccinations will still be available at the Cabell-Huntington Health Department as well as through various pharmacies and physician offices.
Free COVID-19 drive-through testing is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and COVID-19 vaccinations are available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Cabell-Huntington Health Department, located at 703 7th Avenue.
No appointment is needed for COVID-19 testing or vaccination at the Cabell-Huntington Health Department. All vaccine types and doses will be available, including the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine.
