Cabell-Huntington Health Department, City of Huntington and KYOVA Region 2 Planning & Development Council Launch New GIS Site

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia.  The Cabell-Huntington Health Department in collaboration with the City of Huntington and KYOVA Region 2 Planning & Development Council partnered with Esri, a global market leader in GIS tracking to create a local GIS tracking site for our community.

Together, these agencies have created a central point for residents of Cabell County and the City of Huntington (which includes the Westmoreland neighborhood in Wayne County) to access information. The site is called Greater Huntington COVID-19 Response Hub and will be updated regularly so residents can find up-to-date information about the COVID-19 pandemic to include confirmed cases, testing sites, instructional response guides for a variety of situations and listings of community resources.

A special thank you and recognition to Brad Nunley, a GIS analyst for the City of Huntington who was a key stakeholder in getting the site built.

To access the site please visit https://greater-huntington-covid-19-response-hsb.hub.arcgis.com/. The site can also be found at cabellhealth.org.
