Cabell-Huntington Health Department COVID-19 Case Update

HUNTINGTON, West Virginia.  The Cabell-Huntington Health Department is providing an update of COVID-19 cases in Cabell County. Currently the county has three additional cases: a woman in her sixties, a woman in her forties, and a man in his sixties. The total count for Cabell County is four cases. No further information regarding these cases will be released at this time. We offer our concern for these individuals and their families through their illness.

“Our public should be aware that, as in other communities, the risk of community spread increases as the number of cases increases.  Residents should take all recommended precautions to prevent the spread of this disease, heed the Governor’s executive orders to stay home, and follow reliable information outlets for changes” said Dr. Michael Kilkenny, health officer for Cabell County and the City of Huntington.

COVID-19 testing sites are available in Cabell County at Marshall Health, Cabell-Huntington Health Department, Valley Health and Med Express. Please visit cabellhealth.org for hours, addresses and detailed information regarding testing.
